Louie is an old bird, approx. 80 years, he was a rescue bird we have had for the past 9 years, he is mostly green with small amounts of yellow, very little white on head, some oragne under wings and tail. We
were told he would not be healthy enough to ever fly, he managed to fly upward and he wants to come to us very badly but cannot figure out how to fly down. He seems to go to very large trees, the last time we
seen him was on N. Union just three houses north of W. High Street (where we live) on yesturday 06/24/2009. He will make a noise if you go to pick him up but he has not been known to bite people. He
is very badly missed by his buddy (also rescued) Ceaser, our Severe Macaw. Louie likes peanuts and is able to have them in small amounts or to lure him to you. taking parrot food and shaking it in a bowl has

"Birdie" is a small blue parrotlet with dark purple in between his wings on his back. He escaped from the house around 7 in the morning and I stayed outside looking for him until around 11. For several hours I
could hear him but I could not see him, and he was in the area between Erie Drive and Brownell Drive off of Rt. 306 at the end of the cul-de-sacs. It is very cold out so I am extremely worried about his chances of

We lost our cockatiel Penny. She is very friendly, loves to be around people (especially ones with food). She will whistle in a distinctive two-note pattern when trying to find you, and when you whistle to her in
the same way, she will respond with the same two notes backward. She especially likes to sit on shoulders, and will climb down your arm if there is food in front of you. She will eat just about anything except for
blueberries and cherries - her favorite foods are cereal, crackers, and taco chips (basically anything with a cellophane wrapper and/or a box). She LOVES eating whatever you are eating and will even pick food
from the corner of your mouth. She is very traditionally colored - her crest and head feathers are grey rather than yellow and she has the mottling on her belly and tail feathers typical of a female tiel.She was
lost in our neighborhood for the first day or two and doesn't have the stamina to stray more than a quarter-mile at a time. We live just north of Bagley, off of Nobottom Road in Berea so we're expecting that she'll

MINI MACAW, a yellow collar baby, 1 yr old. Fully flighted. Leg band says "Hartman" on it from birth aviary. Was spotted twice in Grandview area yesterday, but hasn't been seen anywhere since. He is
frightened of flying in a downward direction. It's very hot and humid outside and I am heartbroken and petrified something has happened. If you see him, he loves clicks, whistles, head bouncing, a calm natured
person - pref. women, high opera-like singing. He is about 1ft in length, green, with yellow feathers around his neck, blue and red detailing in his feathers. Flys VERY VERY well (horizontally). Timid of
children and big dogs. He's going to be very thirsty. Grapes are a favorite as well as berries and various nuts/seeds ... makes good bait. Please try to catch. He is friendly but may threaten a nip to strangers. His

Jasper is a 3 year old grey cockatiel, Ive had him for 2 years. He has a mostly yellow head and bright orange cheeks, with white outer edges on his wings. Today around 6PM i opened my door and put the fan
in front of it to try and dry out my flooded apartment. I put my birds Jasper and unnamed in the bathroom loose with the door shut so they could get out and play. I went in to use the potty, and Jasper flew around
the door and out the front door and i did'nt even see which way he went. Ive been bawling for 2 hours on and off. If anyone sees him, approach him slowly and put your hand in front of him and he will step onto

She is an albino cockatiel. We say she, but in the last two to three weeks she began talking...we may have had a male. She is approximately eight months old and is approximately eight to ten inches tall. She
sings "Good morning", says "no, no", "I'm gonna get ya" and "hey baby". We have done everything we know to do trying to find her. Our housing addition is near the intersection of 15th and Post. We last saw
her flying south of our neighborhood. If she is seen, we believe she will come to someone if they say the above phrases. If you put your finger under her tummy and say "step up" she will do so! We miss her so

She's probably three or four inches tall, and maybe six inches long, including tail. She flies with a lot of flapping, and her tail pointed down. She's a sort of cerulean or teal, not exceptionally vocal, but relatively
friendly. The only phrase she recognizes with any real reliability is "step up". She's banded, but not micro-chipped. Her wings have been clipped, but she was able to get a lot of distance by catching the

Shelby hitched a ride outside in the hood of my wifes sweatshirt whithout her knowing it. When my wife realized the bird was in her hood, she tired to back into the house but Shelby got spooked and flew. I made

property for two days. He would get excited every time he could see me (his momma) and cry and calls to me. I called back and prayed he would come down to me. We did all the right things with his cage, food
and even bringing our Congo African Grey outside in her cage, placing it next to his as they usually sat inside the bird room. Sam was just too afraid to fly down.I have cried for a year over the loss of Sam. He
was my best friend and first bird. My granddaughters console me with the hope that someone found Sam and has given him a new home. "He is such a sweet bird, GiGi, you know someone loves him." I found

Saturday evening during a cold snow storm, my green quaker bird was spooked off my shoulder where he always sat. We are sick because he is hand fed and if he survived the cold, winter night, he will not know

I had just adopted Tomato two months ago. She flew out of our sliding glass door close to the DMV in Churchland Portsmouth. It's freezing outside and I'm desperate to find her! She is tame enough to step up
