A flighted, banded sun conure was found by a good Samaritan and brought into the veterinary office on October 25, 2010. Fulton is located centrally between Baltimore/Annapolis/DC. Due to the poor condition
of the bird when it was brought in and its rapid response to treatment, I suspect that it was not in the wild for an extended period of time, and may not have had the necessary skills to forage for food and water. I am

There is a bird hanging around in the trees of my backyard. I had my bird out in his cage soaking up the sun Tuesday 5/10/11 and heard a bird returning his call. Heard the bird again on Wednesday morning. (looked
for him and only saw a flash of Yellow in the trees) This morning 5/12/11 I went out to change over laundry and I heard the bird again.. He was doing the same call, but also mimicking the trash trucks back up alarm
(we live near trojes trash) .. I have left seed out, and as soon as the weather gets a better I will put my bird out along with an empty cage and food to try and lure him in. If you are missing a bird in the metro area..

Found a small domestic bird about the size of an extra large egg, with one "major" color and areas of some other colors on its back (mostly hidden when its wings are down) and underbelly. It has a very tiny area of

We found Stormy! He was just happily wandering around in another resident's flower bed, kind of far from our home but in the same development. Oh my gosh it is a miracle! I can't believe we just happened to walk

There is a pigeon that has been hanging around outside of my house for a couple of days. Today was the first day I was able to get close enough to see it had a tag. It looks like a pigeon but is tan .. and doesn't

We found a Quaker, 10-12 inches, Green in color, no bands and the guy who cares for my bird said it was 8 - 10 years old. Had some feather that had been clipped in the past months. It had some scratches on its left
eye. It was really hand friendly so I know that whoever lost it loved it very much. I didn't know what to do since I didn't have a way to care for it so we took it to the pet store Adventures in Birds, 713-681-5299.
This is where I take my bird to get his beak trimmed and they are wonderful. He said they will post that it was found and take really good care of it. csm50@sbcglobal.net

About 6:30pm on Saturday, May 7th, this sweet bird flew into a window and was a bit stunned. He tried to run away but eventually stopped and allowed himself to be picked up. He was very hungry and thirsty and
